Setting the Table - The book has several examples of service that we can all learn from and make it clear why Danny Meyer is as successful a restaurateur as he is. (5 stars).

Keeping at it: The Quest for Sound money and Good Government – Memoir of Paul Volker, An excellent reminder of what good government can do. Also shows just how hard it is to predict interest rates – even for a fed chairman! (4 stars).

The Ascent of Money – The history of money, lending, and trading. A really interesting journey to how we got to today’s financial markets (4 stars).  

The Last Mughal - A fascinating comparison between the decline of the Mughal empire and the simultaneous rise of the British Raj (4 stars).

Isaac Newton (by James Gleick) – A history of probably the smartest man ever to exist, but did get quite technical at times for a biography (3 stars).
